While on campus, the children flooded us with their smiles and giggles. Since the Philippines is prone to frequent and strong typhoons, we assisted the school in purchasing natural disaster relief kits for each classroom.
The principal informed us of their defective and irreparable water tank. Old, worn-out water tanks can potentially carry harmful bacteria, which can be detrimental to one's health. Students and staff use the water tank for drinking, washing their hands, and other hygienic purposes throughout the day.
Through your charitable donations, we were able to provide and install a new water tank to the school.

Graciano Lopez Jaena Elementary School recently celebrated their "Founding Anniversary." Principal Elena Reyes, the faculty, and the staff awarded a Certificate of Recognition to the Thomas Gaiter Foundation for our continuous support to the school. Ms. Estelita M. Maddela and Ms. Fatima M. Maddela accepted the medal and certificate on behalf of the Thomas Gaiter Foundation.

Thomas Gaiter Foundation supports the deaf and hard of hearing people. Sign language increases self-esteem, enhances communication as well as listening skills and it enriches relationships with families and the community.
