Thomas Gaiter Foundation in partnership with National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC), sponsored several high school girls from homeless shelters to visit Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) in America. The goal is to instill and inspire towards a path of higher learning as well as to empower and motivate towards a brighter future.

"I would personally like to thank you for all the money you've donated for this tour. I am very thankful that I received a chance to be included in such an experience and you're part of the reason I was allowed to. This college tour was more than visiting colleges for me. It allowed me to meet new friends, make connections, travel to new places, and essentially plan for my future. Seeing this colleges has been a wake up call for me that I am really growing up. Being on this trip has allowed me to visit universities that I couldn't have seen without this college tour. Once again, I want to thank you for your donation and please continue to donate because it gives girls like me a chance at a better future"..... Morgan

"Thank you for your donations to our tour, so that I could have the opportunity to tour all of these schools. As a junior, it was important that I start looking into colleges and this tour was truly a blessing. On this tour, I was able to build bonds with people and make new friends; but most importantly, I was able to get a feel of schools that I really wanted to attend. They say that you never really know if you like a school unless you actually go to the campus. I learned about schools that would be a great fit for me. Overall, I enjoyed this tour and I'm so glad that I was able to experience going to different campuses and interact with the students and learn about college life. So, again, thank you and God bless you"..... Mia
